General Piercing Information
Who Will Do My Piercing?
Our resident piercer is Meg, you can find her info, portfolio and links to her social media on her artist page.
Do I Need An Appointment?
- No appointment is needed for piercings though you can book if you would prefer.
- Meg is in the studio Tuesday – Saturday 10am – 5pm
What Piercing Services Do You Provide?
Our services include:
- All above waist piercings
- Dermal anchors
- Skin divers
- Jewellery change
We do not currently provide a service for genital piercing but will be happy to recommend local reputable piercers who do.
What Jewellery Do You Use?
- We only use high quality titanium jewellery sourced from leading suppliers within the industry.
- All piercing prices include standard jewellery however we do have a beautiful range of body jewellery , please speak to Meg either before or on the day of your procedure if you would like to upgrade.
Is There An Age Limit For Piercings?
Yes, there is. Please see the legal age limits below. – parental consent ages require your parent or legal guardian to be present, we will not take confirmation over the phone.

Aftercare
How To Clean Your Piercing
- Add two teaspoons of sea salt to 3/4 cup of cooled (lukewarm) boiled water
- Using cotton buds, dip into solution and use to clean around both sides of the piercing.
- Make sure to gently remove any dried blood or bodily fluids.
- Continue this process twice a day for six weeks
- After this period, continue to clean every 2 – 3 days until fully healed.
- If you have any issues with excessive swelling, contact us for advice, you may need longer jewellery.
- Avoid taking your jewellery out or changing it for a minimum of six weeks, unless done professionally.
- Do not twist or play with jewellery as it can cause irritation, swelling and risk of infection.
- It is normal for a new piercing to bleed. Compress the area and clean as detailed above.
How To Clean A Tongue Piercing
- Add two teaspoons of sea salt to 3/4 cup of cooled (lukewarm) boiled water – rinse this solution around your mouth for 10 seconds and spit out.
- Mouth wash can be used as long as it is alcohol free.
- Repeat this cleaning procedure 2 – 3 times a day for 6 weeks.
- You will be booked back in one week after piercing for a jewellery change to a shorter bar.
- This will improve any discomfort from the longer jewellery
- It is normal for your new tongue piercing to be swollen. Avoid any foods that will irritate.
- It is normal for a new piercing to bleed. Rinse mouth with clean water and compress the area.
How To Clean A Lip/ Cheek Piercing
- Add two teaspoons of sea salt to 3/4 cup of cooled (lukewarm) boiled water
- Using cotton buds, dip into solution and use to clean around the outside of the piercing.
- Use the remaining solution to rinse inside of mouth for 10 seconds
- Make sure to gently remove any dried blood or bodily fluids.
- Continue this process twice a day for six weeks
- After this period, continue to clean every 2 – 3 days until fully healed.
- If you have any issues with excessive swelling, contact us for advice, you may need longer jewellery.
- Avoid taking your jewellery out or changing it for a minimum of six weeks, unless done professionally.

How Long Will My Piercing Take To Heal?
- On average piercings take around 6 weeks to fully heal.
- If you have any issues with excessive swelling or irritation bumps this can take longer. In the event of either of these, please follow advice from your piercer.
- Once healed, new piercings can flare up or become tender occasionally, especially in sensitive areas.
- If you do experience a flare up, restart the cleaning procedure and contact your piercer for advice.
